Who I Work With and Why

Most people who find me have already tried the standard route. They've seen a doctor, maybe a physical therapist, maybe a chiropractor. Things helped, or didn't, and they're still dealing with the same problem. That's usually when they land here.

I work with people who are in pain, moving poorly, or simply not performing the way they used to. My job is to figure out why and do something about it. Not manage it, not mask it. Resolve it.

That includes people dealing with chronic pain that hasn't responded to other treatment, athletes managing overuse or recovering between seasons, clients rebuilding after injury or surgery, and anyone who has tried a group Pilates class and felt like the instruction wasn't quite designed for their body. It wasn't, and that's the point of what I do differently.

How I Work

My training spans two disciplines that most practitioners keep separate: how the body moves, and how the tissue underneath that movement behaves. When both are off, treating only one rarely gets the job done.

I assess before I work, and the assessment drives everything that follows. There is no standard sequence, no default protocol. What happens in the room is built around what your body is actually doing that day. Movement is the structure. Assessment is the starting point. The session that follows is built from both.

Why One Practitioner, Private Sessions

Group classes are designed for the average body. If you've spent any time in one, you already know yours isn't average. Private instruction means the work is yours: the pace, the load, the focus, all of it.

You work with me every visit. No rotating staff, no starting over each session, no assembly line. One practitioner, one client, one plan built around your body, from the assessment through the manual work through the movement retraining that makes it last.

If you've been told your pain is something you'll have to live with, it's worth a second opinion.
